Ronald Kurmis graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administartion. He went on to attend the FBI. National Academy and National Fire Academy at R.C.M.P College. He currently lives in Valparaiso, Indiana after retiring from the Valparaiso Police Department a few years ago. Ron joined the III FFC in 2007 as a member of its Construction Investigation Unit. | |
Garland (Butch) Rose has twenty nine years of Police experience, including two years with the Chesterton Indiana Police Department as a Patrol Officer and twenty seven years as an officer with the Portage Police Department. At the Portage Police Department he served ten years as a patrol officer and four years as a Patrol Sergeant. He also served four years in administration as Patrol Commander at the rank of Captain and thirteen years in investigations holding the rank of Detective Sergeant. He attended the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in 1979 and attended additional hours of training, many as a homicide investigator. Butch joined the III FFC in March of 2008 after retiring from the Portage Indiana Police Department in December of 2007. |
